Over the last 20 years, almost 5000 young people have learned to develop their ideas in an entrepreneurial way using the POPRI model. More than 700 mentors have helped them to do so. The impressive results of their efforts for an enterprising Slovenia were shared at the final of the national POPRI Youth Entrepreneurship Ideas Competition, which took place for the 20th time this year. On 4 April 2023, 36 teams, or 113 out of a record 474 competitors, competed in Nova Gorica. The Entrepreneurship Jury decided who had best developed their idea into a business model and presented it. Teams competed to win in the categories of primary, secondary and youth up to 29 years of age, which bring cash prizes and the chance to participate in international competitions and professional excursions abroad.
