2023 is a very special year for ScienceJam. In just two years we have already attracted talent hunters from science entrepreneurship business leaders to the ScienceJam competition finals. Only two years on the competition landscape, and two teams that qualified through us for the International Science Olympiad VILIPO in Vilnius, LT, get gold medals! And in barely two years, we are already getting special praise at the Inženirska iskra 2023 event!
The Inženirska iskra awards, granted by the Inženirji in inženirke bomo! initiative, are awarded to breakthrough and original practices, projects, events, or persons who have made a significant contribution to the development, promoting, and enthusing young people for the engineering profession and innovation. We are extremely proud that the ScienceJam Initiative has been recognized as just such a competition! That’s why we will be even better and bolder in the future!
The recipients of the Engineering Sparks are Super Glavce and Natalija Premužič, who organize the First Lego League in Slovenia, Tanja Pirih for mentoring students in developing innovation, and SpaceDent for preparing dental medicine for multi-year human missions to the Moon and Mars. Congratulations to all recipients!
